Kudus Returns to West Ham for the First Time After Moving to Tottenham: What Awaits the Player.
According to The Sun: Mohammed Kudus admitted that he would 'enjoy' returning to West Ham, however, the pauses in his statements suggest that he may actually feel something different.

It's no surprise that he has mixed feelings returning to the London stadium where he could be booed with the words 'Mohammed Judas.'
This summer, Kudus became the first player to leave the 'Hammers' for the 'Spurs' since Scott Parker in 2011, signing a deal for £55 million.
When asked about the possibility of returning to West Ham, Kudus, with a somewhat shaky voice, said:
“It would be nice to return. But for me, it will be just another Premier League match. It will be the same approach. But I look forward to meeting my former teammates.”
But 'just another Premier League match' is unlikely to be a typical experience at the stadium that was once his home.
West Ham signed Kudus in the final days of the summer transfer window in 2023 for around £38 million, acquiring him from 'Ajax.'
In his first season, the player showed bright form, often celebrating goals by sitting on advertising boards, and ultimately scored 14 goals.
However, in the following season, the situation worsened, especially under the new manager Julen Lopetegui.
In response to questions about this situation, Kudus recalled a conflict in September 2024 during a match against 'Brentford,' when the 'Hammers' were losing, and four months later Lopetegui was sacked.
Although under Graham Potter, Kudus received more playing time, his game was not as bright as before, prompting the club to consider selling.

This opens a new opportunity for a transfer that seemed impossible for 14 years.
West Ham stated that they would no longer sell their players to rivals in North London two years before Parker's signing.
Back then, the 'Hammers' managing director Scott Duxbury explained this by Tottenham's interest in Craig Bellamy, who eventually signed with 'Man City.'
Duxbury noted:
“I made it clear to Craig that there was no chance of moving to Tottenham. The club's philosophy has changed.”

He also mentioned:
“There is a huge rivalry between us and Tottenham. Why would we sell a player who would strengthen their team? It makes no sense.”
However, a year after Duxbury left, this policy changed, including Parker's transfer.
Recently sacked Spurs head Daniel Levy prevented Emmanuel Adebayor from moving to West Ham four years later, and since then, an unofficial embargo has existed between the clubs — to this day.
Kudus seems to be feeling good under the new Spurs manager Thomas Frank, but his satisfaction is unlikely to last long after tomorrow's match, which is likely to be emotional.
