According to The Sun: UFC star Molly McCann is preparing for her professional boxing debut this Sunday!
The 'Meatball' has a professional MMA record of 14-8-0, gaining experience in the women's strawweight division of the UFC.
GettyThis is the first time she is transferring her MMA skills to boxing after ten years of competition, during which she won the ABA title in 2009.
The 35-year-old athlete from Liverpool retired from the UFC in March after losing a fight against Alexa Grasso.
McCann is considered one of the most well-known female MMA fighters in the UK.
In her first professional boxing match, she will face Kate Radomska.
Who is Kate Radomska?
Radomska is a boxer from Waterford, Ireland.
Having started her professional career in September 2021, she holds a record of 4-7-0.
As an amateur, the 35-year-old star won two tournaments: the Haringey Box Cup and the Celtic Box Cup in 2018 and 2019.
Kate hopes to break her four-fight losing streak by defeating McCann in six rounds.
The fight will take place on Saturday and will be the undercard for the major rematch between Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan.
