Youth loan at 7% annually: who can receive up to 2.7 million hryvnias for housing.
According to inkorr.com: The state program 'Youth Loan' continues to operate in Ukraine, aiming to assist those who dream of owning their own home. The main objective of the program is to provide affordable financing for Ukrainians aged up to 36 years.
Participation Conditions in the Program
The program can be participated in by couples where neither spouse is over the age of 35, as well as single young individuals and single-parent families with children. There is an exception for those who hold a doctoral degree: they can obtain a loan up to the age of 40 if the other individual is still under 36. One of the mandatory conditions is the absence of personal housing or non-compliance of the existing accommodation with minimum social standards.
Loan Conditions
The interest rate is 7% annually, the down payment is from 6%, and the maximum repayment period is 20 years. Women must repay the loan by age 55, while men have until age 60.
The loan amount depends on the family composition and the housing cost. For example, for two persons in Kyiv, one can receive up to 2.7 million hryvnias.
Housing Purchase Opportunities
The program foresees the purchase of apartments up to 50 years old, private houses up to 20 years old, as well as reconstructed objects. Both new buildings and secondary housing can be chosen.
Local Support Mechanisms
In some regions, there are their own support programs with various conditions. Thanks to the combination of state and regional initiatives, hundreds of young Ukrainians obtain the opportunity to become homeowners each year.
Do not forget about the state compensation under the 'eOselya' program as well.
The 'Youth Loan' program is an important tool that helps young Ukrainians buy housing in today's market conditions. Alongside state initiatives, local programs also play a significant role in ensuring housing for young people, making it more accessible and realistic for many. Depending on their needs and capabilities, young people can find an optimal solution for themselves, receiving the necessary support from the state and local authorities.
