Monobank customers can now top up their cards for free at all Ukrposhta branches. This was announced by Oleg Gorokhovskiy, one of the bank's co-founders. He noted that this option was introduced thanks to the assistance of Ukrposhta's CEO Igor Smilyansky.
Currently, customers can top up their monobank card at any of the 4500 branches of the national postal company commission-free. Oleg Gorokhovskiy also mentioned that negotiations between the companies lasted for about half a year. At the beginning of the collaboration, the terms proposed by the state company did not meet the bank's requirements, but after the assistance of the Ukrposhta head, the processes and approaches to partnership changed.
'We didn't believe that we could come to an agreement with a state company. And we were right. The terms initially offered to us were unacceptable, resembling terms of credit institutions issued in 1995,' - said the co-founder of monobank.
