These changes will allow the market to develop, stimulate competition for the quality of services, reduce bureaucracy, and increase support for people. National legislation will comply with European practices.
“We hope that such changes will contribute to the involvement of providers, their development, and the improvement of the quality of services,” said Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich.
Who are social service providers in Ukraine
They can be legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who provide social assistance or support to citizens in difficult situations or belong to vulnerable population groups.
For example, social service providers can be state and municipal institutions, private and public charitable organizations, individual entrepreneurs.
How to get into the Register of social service providers
Registration can be done online on the Ministry of Social Policy portal or in writing through a registrar. For this, you need to submit an application and a list of social services provided by the organization.
Changes are also planned in the mechanism of international financial assistance and pension indexing in Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Development reported.
Starting from August 1, Ukrainian social service providers will have the opportunity to be exempt from VAT if they are registered in the appropriate Register. This will promote market development, improve service quality, and comply with European standards.Read also
