Morrisons opens bookings for Christmas deliveries: how to order.
Opening slots for Christmas shopping
According to The Sun: Another supermarket has opened up the possibility of ordering Christmas products for 2025. Morrisons is giving shoppers the chance to plan their festive purchases earlier than ever.
The company aims to help reduce the stress of large Christmas shopping by planning ahead.
EPAMorrisons has become the latest supermarket to open slots for Christmas product deliveries.
Delivery customers can book their slots from today, October 1st, guaranteeing preferred delivery times between December 20th and 24th with a minimum order of £25.
Morrisons customers can choose between two types of delivery passes: Anytime (available seven days) and Midweek (from Tuesday to Thursday).
Both passes are also available as one-month subscriptions (£5 midweek / £8 anytime), six-month subscriptions (£25 midweek / £45 anytime), or annual subscriptions (£40 midweek / £70 anytime).
The supermarket has not yet announced when all other customers will be able to book their Christmas delivery slots.
Last year, bookings for delivery customers started on October 2nd, and for all others, it was October 9th.
“Christmas is about memories, spending time with loved ones, and festive fun. To help our customers prepare and make the most of the season, we are opening our delivery slots even earlier this year,” said Charlotte Exel, Morrisons' director of online sales.
“With Delivery Pass, planning ahead is easy — it offers great benefits, additional flexibility, and peace of mind that your Christmas shopping at Morrisons is already under control.”
Other Christmas delivery dates
Morrisons has become the latest major supermarket to announce when shoppers can book deliveries ahead of the big day.
Tesco announced last week that customers with an annual delivery pass can book a slot from 6 AM on November 4th, while slots for all customers, including those on the Off-peak Delivery Saver plan, will open at 6 AM on November 11th.
M&S has also started bookings for its selection of food orders, with slots available from December 22nd.
Bookings for Christmas product deliveries at Ocado are already open for “Smart Pass” customers who joined by September 1st, 2025. The online supermarket has yet to confirm when slots will be available for other customers.
The elite supermarket Waitrose is opening its slots from September 24th for customers with an active Delivery Pass, but has not yet announced a date for customers without it.
Asda has also announced that from October 14th, delivery pass holders will be able to book a slot for their festive shopping, while the opening date for all other customers is October 20th.
Sainsbury’s has not yet announced when its slots will be available, but it is expected around October 23rd for customers with Delivery Pass.

Thus, the growing competition among supermarkets for Christmas orders is pushing them to open delivery slots earlier. This helps shoppers plan their expenses and reduce stress during holiday shopping, which is becoming an important aspect in modern realities. Other chains are expected to similarly respond to customer needs by offering more services in delivery and shopping.
