The Magura Sea Drone Receives an Unusual Decoration (video).
Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine Rustem Skybin adorned the Magura V5 sea drone with Crimean Tatar ornamentation. This gives the drone a combat appearance and symbolizes valor and victory.
The Main Intelligence Directorate reported that the aim of the artistic project is to remind people of Ukraine's successes in the fight against Russia in the Black Sea, achieved through the skill of the warriors and technological weaponry.
The Magura V5 is the first and only surface drone in the world to have destroyed enemy ships. It has a hydrodynamic hull that provides high maneuverability and camouflage.
The painting of the Magura V5 hull was made possible with support from the Crimean Platform Summit.
Thanks to this drone, GUR special forces destroyed 18 Russian ships off the coast of Crimea, with the aggressor's losses estimated at over half a billion dollars.
The Magura V5 was recognized as the most effective during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Zelensky stated that Ukraine has the potential to develop drone production, but this requires additional funding.
It should be noted that separate units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will manage the Drone Systems Forces under the new law.
