Russia attempted to attack Odesa region with experimental sea drones.
The Russian Federation tried to attack the city of Pivdenne in the Odesa region using sea drones, but they exploded before reaching Ukrainian territory. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Defense's intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, who was quoted by Ukrinform.
Budanov explained that the drones were heading towards Pivdenne, but 'they faced failure'. 'In early June, they attempted to test experimental models of sea drones, but without success. They exploded at sea, not even reaching Ukraine's territorial waters,' he stated.
At the same time, the Russian occupying army attacked Kharkiv, causing fires and damage to buildings. The Novobavarsky district was under fire from Russian drones. Additionally, Russian 'Shaheds' attacked the Izmail district of Odesa region.
Incidentally, Russia is assisting North Korea in the production and training of their drone operators.
The Ukrainian intelligence chief reported that Russian drones attempted to attack Ukraine, but ultimately exploded before reaching its territory. Furthermore, the occupying Russian army actively shelled Kharkiv and the Odesa region, which once again confirms the threat to Ukraine's security.
