Russia strikes Kharkiv with drones.
On the night of July 2, Kharkiv became a target for the attacks of the Russian occupation army. The city mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that as a result of this attack, a fire broke out and buildings were damaged. The incident occurred in the Novobavarskyi district, where drones struck, leading to the destruction of a non-residential building. Fortunately, there is no information about casualties, and a review of the area is currently underway. Also, due to this attack, windows in neighboring buildings were damaged.
Later, the fire was extinguished, and two residents were evacuated from homes near the site of the strike. Information about casualties is currently absent, and rescue operations are ongoing. It is also worth noting that recently, the Main Intelligence Directorate in Sumy revealed the identities of Russian servicemen involved in the missile strike on June 3, 2025, which resulted in the death of six people.
The attack of Russian drones in Kharkiv caused a fire and damage to buildings. Fortunately, casualties were avoided, and those responsible for the attack may be identified thanks to intelligence.
