Support for including darts in the Olympic Games
A Dutch MP expressed his support for the idea of including darts in the Olympic Games. Jimmie Noorkamp, 29 years old, represents the municipality of Losser in the Eastern Netherlands. As a member of the Dutch Labour Party, he shared his passion for darts and even joked about installing a dartboard in his office.“I really enjoy playing darts, and I believe this sport deserves a place in the Olympic Games,” Noorkamp said.According to the MP, darts has great potential for attracting new fans and popularizing the sport among the youth.Including darts in the Olympic Games could be a landmark step that reflects the development of modern sports and their popularity among different age groups. Darts, as a sport, already has a large army of fans, and its recognition at the Olympic level could provide a new impetus for its development.
