Return of the popular festive treat

According to The Sun: M&S has once again delighted its fans with festive snacks, prompting shoppers to rush to their nearest stores.

Now available are the ‘Tortilla Rolls with Milk Chocolate and Cinnamon’, which hundreds of users are actively sharing their impressions of on social media.

Facebook/@Snack Reviews Tortilla Rolls with Milk Chocolate and Cinnamon have returned to M&S shelves.

These crispy cinnamon rolls, dipped in milk chocolate, make them the perfect festive snack.

In previous years, these treats sold out very quickly, so it's worth hurrying to buy them.

One buyer shared in the Facebook group Snack Reviews: “So happy to see them back on M&S shelves.”

Many people actively commented on the post, expressing their outrage and joy:

“I bought them last year, and oh my, they are amazing. Definitely getting them again this year!”
“We need to go NOW while we can find them.”
“I NEED these! THEY SELL OUT EVERY YEAR BEFORE I CAN BUY THEM.”

Last year, these treats cost £2.75, but their price is not completely known now.

According to a post from M&S, where the product is shown alongside other festive treats, the price is currently at least £3.

This means that shoppers will pay more for these treats than last year.

Users also shared their excitement when the sweet snack reappeared on shelves in 2024.

However, many were disappointed when it disappeared just weeks before Christmas.

At the beginning of December, one desperate shopper left a message in the store: “Please don’t break my heart so close to Christmas… Your chocolate and cinnamon tortilla rolls have vanished from our local store, and I can’t find them online.”

“Please say they’ll be back on shelves soon.”

However, M&S confirmed that the treats had been discontinued.

“Sorry! We still have a great selection of festive treats in the store. We hope you can forgive us.”

New festive treats on the shelves

The anticipation for the festive season is actively ongoing, at least for supermarkets.

Famous brands are bringing back our favorite festive sweets while also offering new products.

Pringles has introduced a new “Santa's mysterious flavor,” which makes shoppers guess its taste.

Additionally, the flavors “Roast Turkey” and “Pigs in Blankets” have returned, which were quite popular.

Quality Street containers have also once again appeared on the shelves.

These filled treat jars are a big hit during Christmas and may go on sale when the price war begins.

Tesco previously offered a promotion where you could get a 600-gram jar for £2.95 with a club card.

As for chocolate products, Mars has also introduced its festive product line this year.

This chocolate giant is known for its popular products such as Maltesers, Galaxy, Mars Bars, Snickers, and M&M’s.

New offerings include the Milky Way chocolate calendar, gingerbread Maltesers reindeer, and a festive Maltesers bag.

The revival of demand for festive treats indicates that traditional sweets continue to hold a significant place in consumers' hearts. Despite rising prices, shoppers show a willingness to support their favorite brands during the holiday season. This suggests that festive sweets will always be relevant, as festive traditions will never lose their value among people.
