Mother from Britain finished Christmas shopping in June: how it helps to save money.
Christmas gifts are already ready
According to The Sun: The mother has already prepared for Christmas — the cost of gifts reached £2,000.
Charlotte Chandler started buying gifts for her children Harley (14), Evly (13), and Miles (6) as early as June.
The 36-year-old woman believes that early shopping significantly reduces stress during the holidays.
“Getting everything sorted in advance really makes a big difference. I usually start in June, but sometimes I can start earlier.”
“This way, I can spread out the costs and worry less closer to Christmas, and also have a bit of extra cash for fun.”
“Shopping in a crowded mall in December and fighting for a parking spot — that’s not for me.”
Charlotte also tries to resist the urge to buy even more gifts.
“I don’t top up the stock before Christmas. I’m already done.”
The savvy single mother from Stockport, Greater Manchester, hides gifts in two 7-foot locked cabinets.
In addition to £2,000 for gifts, she adds about £10 a week to her grocery basket for buying Christmas treats like chips, nuts, chocolate, and soda.

Her experience can be a useful example for many parents who strive to avoid stress while preparing for Christmas. Thus, early planning gives time to enjoy moments with family, which is undoubtedly the most important thing during the holidays.
