IMF predicts the dollar exchange rate to reach 50 hryvnias: when to expect changes.
Dollar exchange rate forecast against the hryvnia until 2030
According to inkorr.com: The dollar exchange rate forecast against the hryvnia until 2030 has sparked significant interest among experts and the public. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released data indicating that by 2029, the dollar could reach the mark of 50 hryvnias. The October report of the World Economic Outlook (WEO) for 2025 states that the hryvnia has a chance to remain stable, while the dollar will gradually rise.
Updated forecasts also indicate that the Ukrainian economy will continue to grow in the coming years, with optimism regarding the end of the war with Russia by the end of 2025. IMF experts highlighted that the exchange rate of the hryvnia will remain unchanged due to the measures by the National Bank and support from international partners. However, in the next year, one should prepare for moderate devaluation and fluctuations in the exchange rate.
These forecasts point to hopes for economic growth and stability in the country. If the military conflict can come to an end, it will create additional conditions for economic recovery, which in turn could positively affect the exchange rate of the hryvnia.
