The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Veterans launched a program for veterans with visual impairments.
Joint program for the adaptation of veterans
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Veterans have started cooperation within a program aimed at helping veterans with vision problems. The partnership agreement has already been signed, and the program 'Reboot' is actively developing. The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Inna Yashchuk, emphasized the successes of the initiative, which helps veterans adapt to new living conditions.
'Creating this program has been a significant challenge, but we are already seeing results. The rehabilitation of project participants includes orientation training, working with gadgets, psychological support, and training to read using the Braille method,' said Inna Yashchuk.
Successes of the 'Reboot' program
At the moment, 9 groups of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have successfully completed the 'Reboot' project, and now access to the program is also being granted to other representatives of law enforcement agencies. The Ministry of Veterans also reported on the development of new initiatives regarding the employment of veterans with visual impairments.
Thus, the joint efforts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Veterans are aimed at supporting veterans with visual impairments. The 'Reboot' program is dynamically developing, providing participants with all the necessary skills and assistance for a new phase of life after the war.
