10 hryvnia more expensive: supermarkets showed new prices for mineral water, cola and juice.

Beverage prices continue to surprise buyers. The price of some of them has risen sharply, while others have become cheaper for Ukrainians.

This was reported by "Hvilya" with reference to monitoring data from the "Minfin" portal.

Morshynska slightly carbonated mineral water with a volume of 1500 ml now costs an average of 22.53 UAH, which is 70 kopecks cheaper than the average price in June 2024.

Regarding Coca-Cola with a volume of 1750 ml, its current average price is 49.16 UAH, which is 1.62 UAH higher than in June.

An interesting situation is observed with juices. Rich apple juice (1 l) remained at its average price of 76.85 UAH. But the juice "Our Juice Multivitamin with pulp" (950 ml) has risen in price by 9.20 UAH and costs an average of 50.10 UAH.

Soon, sweet water in Ukraine may become more expensive. The Verkhovna Rada Committee supported the draft law on the introduction of excise duty on sweet drinks. According to the proposal, the excise will be 0.1 euros per liter.

If the law is adopted, for example, the tax on a bottle of Coca-Cola will be about 4.5 UAH. These changes will affect water with the addition of sugar, other sweeteners or flavorings, including carbonated and mineral waters.
