Growth of Ukraine's international reserves
The National Bank of Ukraine reported that the country's international reserves increased by 8% in 2024 and amounted to 43.8 billion USD as of January 1, 2025.
According to the NBU, Ukraine received significant financial support last year - about 42 billion USD. In addition, the country gained more than 3.5 billion USD through the placement of currency bonds.
This dynamic is driven by record inflows from international partners, exceeding the net sale of currency by the National Bank and the country's foreign currency debt payments.
