National Police Conducted Over 940 Searches Resulting in the Seizure of Illegal Weapons.

Ukrainian police carried out a successful special operation during which more than 260 units of firearms and over 74 kg of explosives were seized, including grenade launchers, grenades, and other ammunition. This success was made possible by 941 searches conducted across the country.

During the operations, 10 cases of arms trafficking were recorded, several arms caches were uncovered, and more. Among the seized items were grenade launchers, grenades, and various ammunition.

Those detained have been informed of their suspicion of illegal handling of weapons. Under this article, they face imprisonment for up to seven years. The operation involved the patrol police, the KORD special forces, as well as canine and explosive ordnance disposal services.

Prevented the Flow of Illegal Weapons to the Black Market

The police actions managed to reduce the threat to the civilian population by preventing illegal weapons from reaching the black market. This special operation was an important step in the fight against crime and in enhancing the safety of citizens.
