Fire in the mine due to shelling: two workers killed
Today, September 22, due to Russian shelling of the mine area, a fire broke out. As a result of this tragic incident, two workers were killed. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
«Due to shelling of the mine area, a fire broke out, combustion products did not enter the mine. At the time of the incident, there were 371 workers in the mine, all of whom were brought to the surface. The fire has been extinguished. As a result of inspecting the buildings, two female workers were found dead, and another one was taken to the hospital», - the statement said.
Recall that in the Poltava region, a night attack by a Russian UAV led to a fire on the substation's territory and power outages for the substation and its consumers.
«At night, the enemy attacked Poltava region with a UAV. There is damage to the energy infrastructure in one area of the region. As a result, 56 household and 30 legal consumers were left without power. Specialized experts are already working on restoring electricity supply to people. The issue is under control», - noted Philip Pronin.
Also, in the evening and at night, Russia attacked Nikopol region, resulting in an injured child.
