According to the Ministry of Community Development, the concept of Active Parks involves launching accessible sports and recreational zones that will help residents communicate and actively relax.
'Active parks are an attempt to engage citizens in a healthy lifestyle and create places for communication in cities. This initiative extends not only to large cities but also to areas facing the most difficult times,' explained Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba.
The new park will be located near the House of Culture and will be available to all interested. Local authorities plan to arrange various sports fields and relaxation areas.
In addition, plans include the creation of a space for events at the site where a stage used to be, which will facilitate the closer community interaction among residents.
