The Sea Level May Rise by 2100

According to Tom Chadli, an associate professor at the Department of Geography at Durham University, the sea level could increase by one meter by 2100 and even by 10 meters by 2300. The scientist pointed out that this could be due to dynamic changes caused by climate change. In particular, the Greenland ice sheet has begun to crack faster due to climate changes that have contributed to low temperatures.

Chadli added that since 1992, the sea level in Greenland has risen by 14 millimeters due to melting ice. He calls for detailed mapping for better predictions of sea level rise. The scientist also noted that Antarctica is also losing ice, which could affect the rise in sea levels on the planet.
