Fighting Enemy Drones in the Toretsky Direction: How Ukrainian Defenders Operate.
According to inkorr.com: In the Toretsky direction, active operations of enemy drones are ongoing. This was reported by the chief sergeant of the UAV company of the 4th separate heavy mechanized brigade, Volodymyr Illiushchenko, on the Army TV program.
Methods of Fighting Drones
To counter these UAVs, Ukrainian operators resort to various methods, including physically knocking down drones using a thin thread with a weight, as well as using their own drones to perform aerial ramming. The military noted that sometimes it is possible to knock down enemy drones and restore their own, but in some cases, such actions are necessary for tactical reasons.
The Ukrainian army is actively updating its approaches to combating enemy drones in the Toretsky direction, improving its defense methods against UAVs.
In the current combat environment, UAVs have become an important element of warfare, so the development of tactics for their removal is crucial for ensuring the safety of military personnel and achieving success in operational tasks.
