In Vinnytsia, the organizer of the smuggling channel for draft dodgers abroad was detained.

According to ТСН: In Vinnytsia, a channel for the illegal transportation of draft dodgers across the state border was discovered.

In Mohyliv-Podilskyi, a 54-year-old local taxi driver decided to change his occupation and became a 'dispatcher' for draft dodgers who wanted to leave the country. Instead, he organized a 'special transfer' instead of a regular taxi.

For his 'services', the suspect demanded 3000 US dollars. He not only instructed the client over the phone but also provided the vehicle himself to bypass checkpoints on the way to the border.

However, the attempt to reach the border ended unsuccessfully. The organizer used a taxi driver friend to transport the 'passenger'. Border guards stopped their car while in motion, leading to the detainment of the dealer and revealing the organizer who was giving instructions from home.

The organizer of the criminal scheme was charged. He faces imprisonment for a term of 7 to 9 years with the possibility of property confiscation.

It was previously reported that in Lviv region a draft dodger fled to Poland while the border guard went to the bathroom.

This incident highlights the problem of illegal exit from the country, which has intensified during the war. Authorities are actively working to identify and stop such schemes in order to prevent evasion of military service. The situation at the border remains under control, and border guards are taking measures to combat such crimes.
