Planned Gas Network Maintenance in Kharkiv and Balakliia Community

According to Novyny.live: A significant number of residents in Kharkiv and the Balakliia community will face a temporary gas supply interruption lasting one to two days due to scheduled network maintenance. This disruption will affect both urban households and rural villages where the work is planned.

In Kharkiv, maintenance is set for July 7 in the Kholodnohirskyi district. Homes on the following streets will lose gas service:

  • Syrykivska Street, buildings 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 9-B
  • Sotnyk Kostiuchenka Street, buildings 33, 35, 37, 37-A, 39, 41, 43, 45, and 47

Additionally, since 8:00 AM on July 6, the following villages have been without gas:

  • Shevelivka
  • Asiivka
  • Popivka
  • Volobuiivka

Gas supply is expected to be restored to Shevelivka, Asiivka, and Popivka by July 8, and to Volobuiivka by July 7.

The price of natural gas for household consumers remains unchanged at 7.96 hryvnias per cubic meter. This rate stays in effect despite recent events on June 26 and 27, when Russian forces launched massive strikes on Naftogaz Group facilities in the Kharkiv region. Meanwhile, nearly 84 hectares of the region have been cleared of hazardous objects, reflecting ongoing efforts to improve safety and rebuild infrastructure in the area.

Ensuring Stable Gas Supply

These planned gas network operations in Kharkiv and the Balakliia community are part of routine infrastructure maintenance aimed at guaranteeing uninterrupted gas delivery in the long term. Amid regional instability caused by military actions, maintaining reliable energy supplies and clearing dangerous items from affected territories is critical. This work not only helps restore utilities but also enhances the quality of life for local residents.
