NABU denies investigation into PHU Lechmar

The PHU Lechmar Case

According to Espreso.tv: Poland-based company PHU Lechmar has denied any ongoing criminal investigation by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), stating that no legal proceedings have been opened against it. NABU’s official confirmation that the company is not listed in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations has become a key point in the wake of recent allegations about potential misconduct.

NABU’s formal response contradicts a statement made by Vitaliy Shabunin on June 17, 2026, which suggested possible criminal actions involving PHU Lechmar. On June 26, 2026, NABU clarified that the company’s name does not appear in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. This fact is crucial for understanding the company’s legal standing and its operational context.

Government Agencies Confirm Compliance

Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service has also confirmed that PHU Lechmar has fulfilled its obligations under ammunition procurement contracts worth 23 billion hryvnias. In light of this, company representative Karolina Siudyla commented:

“We consider transparency the foundation of our operations, which is why we decided to request NABU’s official position.” – Karolina Siudyla

This statement underscores the company’s commitment to openness in its business dealings.

Additionally, Hennadiy Holovatskyi, a NABU representative, emphasized:

“Information regarding PHU Lechmar as a legal entity subject to possible criminal measures is not entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.” – Hennadiy Holovatskyi

This reinforces the company’s stance that no criminal cases exist and highlights its legitimacy in fulfilling state contracts.

As a result, the situation surrounding PHU Lechmar remains stable, with multiple government agencies confirming the absence of any criminal proceedings.

The lack of criminal cases against PHU Lechmar is significant not only for the company itself but also for the state bodies it works with. It points to the company’s reliability and stability in executing public contracts, especially in the sensitive area of ammunition supply. Such confirmations from NABU and other authorities help maintain trust in business operations amid heightened scrutiny of corruption risks in public procurement.
