According to inkorr.com: The National Anti-Corruption Bureau, together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, uncovered a scheme for financing the former Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, known by criminals as 'Che Guevara'. Law enforcement officials recorded a cash transfer amounting to 1.2 million US dollars and nearly 100 thousand euros. The money was handed over at the office of a criminal organization or at a medical clinic owned by a person involved in this case.

Recent money transfers

The last portion of funds, namely 500 thousand US dollars, was transferred to 'Che Guevara's' wife after he received the status of a suspect in corruption crimes from NABU and SAP. The individual in question has not yet been named, but the media hints at Oleksii Chernyshov.

Fighting corruption

According to the information provided by NABU and SAP, the Vice Prime Minister received money in various locations, trying to avoid exposure of the corruption scheme. This case is just one of many being investigated by Ukrainian law enforcement in the fight against corruption at the highest levels of government.

The situation surrounding corruption schemes in Ukraine remains tense. The authorities are actively working on uncovering and punishing corrupt individuals, which indicates a growing awareness of the problem in society. Investigating such cases could be an important step towards restoring trust in state institutions and reducing corruption risks in the future.
