Naftogaz advises to install a gas safety detector: what you should know.
Ukrainians who have gas at home have been advised to install a safety device. As reported by 'Khvylia', this was communicated by the gas supply company 'Naftogaz Ukraine'.
Safety of gas usage
According to inkorr.com: The gas used for heating homes and cooking can be dangerous if not used properly. Experts recommend installing special detectors, as cases of carbon monoxide poisoning occur quite often. Gas alarms can timely warn about the threat.
How the gas alarm works
This device constantly monitors the air composition, and if gas is detected, it issues a warning signal. The main advantage of such devices is their sensitivity even to low concentrations of gas. Several modifications can automatically stop the gas supply, thereby preventing poisoning.
Cost of gas alarms
Prices for basic models start from 1225 hryvnias. More advanced options with additional features and remote control cost from 3000 to 4000 hryvnias.
Installing a gas alarm can significantly increase the level of security in the home, helping to avoid serious consequences associated with gas leaks or fires. Such type of safety devices has become an important element in ensuring safety in Ukrainian households, especially during the winter period when risks increase. Choosing the right device and timely installation can save lives.
