NATO launches a psychological support program in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: will reach thousands of military personnel.

According to inkorr.com: The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively implementing an initiative for psychological support and restoring the combat readiness of servicemen through NATO's human-centered approach program within the Comprehensive Assistance Package for Ukraine, the General Staff reports.
This program aims to enhance the psychological readiness of Ukrainian soldiers for potential active combat actions in the event of a need to repel Russian aggression. The new stage of implementation involves conducting 280 training sessions for over 8400 servicemen of the Defense Forces, which will take place from August 2025 to December 2026.
'During the training sessions, participants acquire new knowledge and refine their skills in providing first psychological aid and self-help in combat conditions, according to international standards and protocols,'
'This activity is carried out in cooperation with psychological support officers in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,' the General Staff's message states.
According to information from the General Staff, the Armed Forces of Ukraine participate in the psychological support project thanks to the NATO program. The main activities are aimed at enhancing military readiness for potential combat actions and providing them with the necessary skills if needed.
This initiative is an important component of the training of Ukrainian servicemen, as psychological resilience can significantly impact their effectiveness in combat conditions. Today, in the context of military aggression, the ability to provide first psychological aid and respond correctly to stressful situations becomes critically important for every serviceman.
