In Lviv, the 5G network will be tested, making it the first city in Ukraine where this will be done. This is reported by "Khvilya", citing sources in the telecom market.
If the new equipment does not affect the work of the military, the project is planned to be expanded to Kyiv and Odesa.
However, it is still too early to talk about the full-fledged launch of the network in these cities. It is likely that the new technology will initially be deployed at several base stations.
Telecommunications expert Roman Khimich explained that in the testing locations, users will be able to connect to the 5G network.
It was previously announced that the launch of 5G internet will happen quickly.
