Ukrainian scammers are back on the hunt! This time they disguise themselves as bank representatives and promise a reward of 1000 hryvnias for participating in a survey. But in reality, this is just a cunning way to deceive people and steal money from their bank accounts. The perpetrators send emails with links to phishing sites that look like official bank web resources. When users visit these pages, they are coaxed into completing a survey and entering personal information such as phone number, SMS code, and card PIN. These data are then used to access victims' accounts and withdraw funds.The National Bank of Ukraine urged citizens to be cautious and not trust suspicious messages about 'payments' or 'surveys from the bank.'To protect yourself from phishing, experts advise:
- check the website address before entering personal data;
- only pay attention to official bank websites;
- do not click on links from unknown sources.
