Unknown Drones Over Denmark: Drones Breach Border Near Military Bases Again.
Denmark has recorded another case of unauthorized drone flights near strategic military facilities. The incident occurred last night and continued a series of similar airspace violations in the country.
According to inkorr.com: According to the Danish Ministry of Defence, drones were spotted in the vicinity of several military establishments. The military command has not yet disclosed the exact locations and the number of drones but has confirmed that several units of the Armed Forces are involved in responding to the situation.
Threat to Karup Military Airbase
Among the sites where illegal drone activity was recorded is the Karup military airbase, the main base of the Royal Danish Air Force. Drones were flying both over the airbase territory and in adjacent areas outside its perimeter. The police of Central and Western Jutland recorded the appearance of one or two drones in the area around 20:00.
In response to the threat, airspace was temporarily closed to civilian flights. However, this did not cause significant inconvenience, as regular flights to Karup are absent. The police, together with the army, are investigating the incident and urging witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity on Friday evening to provide information.
This incident in Denmark highlights serious threats that can not only violate airspace but also endanger the security of military facilities. Authorities are quickly responding to these cases, conducting investigations to ensure the protection of the country amid increasing violations.
