According to The Sun: Sainsbury’s has started selling Tim Tams cookies with white chocolate, and it has caused a real excitement among shoppers.
Tim Tam cookies are now available at Sainsbury’sThis Australian dessert is very popular in Australia, but finding it in the UK is a real challenge.
The cookies are available in various flavors, including chocolate and caramel.
Sainsbury’s became the first supermarket in the UK to feature the white chocolate version.
This novelty was discovered by users of NewFood UK, and many sweet tooths are not holding back their excitement.
One shopper said: “Need the white chocolate ones.”
Another enthusiast stated: “Sainsbury’s are now selling white chocolate timtams, my lil Aussie backpacker heart is so happy.”
The third shopper simply noted that the treat looks “yummy.”
If you want to try this dessert, visit the nearest Sainsbury’s.
The product price is £2.50, and for Nectar cardholders - £1.85.
Additionally, shoppers can also taste other flavors such as milk chocolate and super chocolate.
Supplies can also be replenished at other chains like Tesco and Waitrose, which also sell these delicacies. The price at both supermarkets is £2.50, however, the white chocolate flavor is likely exclusive to Sainsbury’s.
Other Australian chocolate novelties
This is not the only Australian cookie that has appeared in British supermarkets in recent weeks.
At B&M, shoppers noticed pieces of Cadbury Dairy Milk Sticky Toffee chocolate in stores this month.
Earlier, in March, the discount store featured Cadbury Dairy Milk Slices Peanut Caramel for £2.99.
Also, in May, shoppers came across Cadbury Dream and Marvellous Creations chocolates that contain fruity candies flavored with raspberry and fizzy candies coated in white chocolate.
