Despite considering this style subtle, his co-host noticed it.
“If you always look scruffy, no one asks about it,” he said in a conversation with Logan on 'The Sports Agents' podcast.
“Gabby, you always look very good. I try to take better care of myself with 'Match of the Day'. Last year I wore the same black sweater for every episode of 'Match of the Day 2'.

Logan replied: “Oh, I noticed that.”
Chapman asked: “Really?”
Logan explained: “Yes, I notice what men wear on sports shows. Throughout my career, I have often been the only woman and always felt that I needed to look good.”
In the end, she added: “And I noticed your black sweater and was going to intervene!”
Chapman hosted the first episode of 'Match of the Day' in his new role, replacing Lineker, at the start of the 2025-26 season, and later Logan took over hosting 'Match of the Day 2' on Sundays.
