According to The Sun: The football club Newcastle United has contacted the police regarding the racist abuse suffered by midfielder Joe Willock. An anonymous Instagram account attacked the former Arsenal player after the Magpies secured a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Willock, who is 26 years old, missed a great opportunity to score after coming on as a substitute in this game. After the match, he posted screenshots on social media showing a series of racist private messages he had received.
