Newcastle Negotiates with Chelsea for Nicolas Jackson Transfer: Deal Details.
New Opportunity for Nicolas Jackson
According to The Sun: Newcastle has once again become a possible option for Nicolas Jackson after his transfer to Bayern Munich fell through.
Chelsea decided to halt the deal for Jackson’s loan to the German club due to an injury to Liam Delap, which he sustained on Saturday.
PANewcastle is negotiating to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.
However, despite the deal with Bayern not going ahead, the forward does not want to return to Chelsea and is considering other options.
Currently, talks are ongoing for a move to St. James' Park. This became possible after Alexander Isak's transfer to Liverpool for £130 million.
Chelsea is now only willing to agree to a permanent deal, valuing the player at around £60 million.
The club also planned to sign Konrad Laimer from Sporting as a replacement, but he has already gone to Germany to finalize a contract with RB Leipzig.
Thus, Chelsea is strengthening its attacking line by bringing back Mark Giou from Sunderland.
The Spaniard moved north on loan earlier this summer.
Giou scored one goal in three matches for the 'Black Cats', but now receives a new chance to prove his worth at Stamford Bridge after six goals in 16 appearances last season.
