According to The Sun: William Osula is on the verge of an unexpected transfer to 'Frankfurt' for 30 million pounds, despite having scored only two goals in the Premier League during his time at 'Newcastle'.
The Danish forward, who was also tracked by 'Aston Villa', is currently negotiating personal terms ahead of the move to the German Bundesliga.

Could not realize potential at Newcastle
Osula joined 'Newcastle' nearly a year ago for 10 million pounds from 'Sheffield United'. However, he was unable to establish himself in the starting lineup, and throughout his first season, he did not start a single match in the Premier League.
Success in the youth team
William finally scored his first goal for 'Newcastle' in a match against 'Bromley' in the FA Cup, before scoring in the Premier League against 'Ipswich' in April. At the youth Euros, he showcased impressive performances, attracting interest from many clubs.
Period of juggling major transfers
A loan option was also considered, but the situation with Alexander Isak complicated matters, as coach Eddie Howe was left without enough attacking options.
Recently, Osula came on as a substitute and scored in the match against 'Liverpool', but his debut as a starter against 'Leeds' did not go well.
Meanwhile, 'Newcastle' is working on finalizing the transfer of Joane Vissa for 55 million pounds, after signing Nick Woltemade for a record 69 million pounds from 'Stuttgart'.
Negotiations with 'Aston Villa' initially yielded no results due to UEFA spending restrictions, but now 'Frankfurt', who are tied for first place with 'Bayern', has decided to seize the opportunity.
They have already agreed on a 30 million pound package with 'Newcastle', effectively tripling their investment in the player, and the deal also includes a buyback option.
It seems that 'Newcastle' is satisfied with this arrangement, as it allows them to get a good price and retain a buyback option if necessary.
Therefore, if William Osula's move to 'Frankfurt' goes through, it will mark an important milestone for both clubs. 'Newcastle' will be able to save on salaries and find new options to strengthen their attack, while Osula will receive more playing time, which could help him realize his potential.Read also
