Newcastle lost two newcomers before the match against Wolves: injury details.
Double injury blow for Newcastle before the match against Wolverhampton
According to The Sun: The Newcastle football club suffered serious losses due to injuries before an important match against Wolverhampton.
The team planned to include newcomer Yoane Wissa, who was signed in the final days of the transfer window.
GettyHowever, his debut for the team has been postponed due to a knee injury sustained during the international break. Returning from the national team of the DR Congo, Wissa underwent examination, but as coach Eddie Howe stated, he 'is still feeling the effects' of the injury and is not ready to play.
“Speaking about Wissa, he will likely consult a specialist to determine the severity of his injury,” said Howe.
Meanwhile, the team received another unpleasant surprise: Jacob Ramsey, another newcomer, is out for at least a month due to an ankle injury sustained in the match against Leeds.
“John is our only other injured player. Unfortunately, he will probably miss until the next international break,” noted Howe.
The loss of Wissa opens up an opportunity for German player Nick Woltemade, who signed with Newcastle for £69 million, to debut in the starting lineup at St James' Park.
“He has been training well, and we are very pleased with his progress,” added Howe.

Furthermore, among the positive news, Howe confirmed that Joelinton has returned to training and is ready to play against Wolverhampton.
The injury situation at Newcastle creates new challenges for the team before an important game. The return of Joelinton may provide the necessary support; however, the absence of Wissa and Ramsey may affect the coach's tactical calculations. The team hopes for the recovery of key players in the near future to strengthen their chances of success in the season.
