Joe Willock ran out of petrol in his Porsche
According to The Sun: Newcastle player Joe Willock found himself in a funny situation when his £200,000 Porsche stopped due to a lack of fuel.
Fans witnessed this unusual moment as the car, which goes from 0 to 199 miles per hour, broke down at the roundabout.
Tik TokEyewitnesses filmed Willock, in Newcastle training gear and black sports trousers, filling up the tank from a green jerry can.
In the clip, which became popular online, one passerby commented:
“Should get you to the garage.”
Willock replied:
“Yeh, hopefully, otherwise I’m f*g pushing it.”
After that, Joe thanked the fans and continued on his way last Sunday. One commentator wrote:
“Hahahahah poor Joe Willock.”
Another joked:
“All the money and running this car on empty.”
Some noted that Willock's Porsche 911 GT3 was only a few hundred yards from a gas station in Coughey, Newcastle.
Earlier this year, Willock's teammate Dan Burn had already helped a driver stuck on the street by pushing his car through the city.

“I was expecting Dan Burn to be pushing his car down the street, and I am mildly disappointed.”
Joe Willock, a former England U21 player, joined Newcastle on loan from Arsenal in January 2021, and in August signed a permanent contract for £25 million.
