Deadly Overnight Strike Hits Dnipro: 4 Killed, 16 Wounded, 15 Hospitalized.
June 2 Attack on Dnipro by Russian Forces Results in Fatalities
According to Novyny.live: In the early hours of June 2, Russian troops launched an assault on the city of Dnipro, leading to deaths and injuries. The hostile strike claimed the lives of 4 individuals and left 16 others wounded. Among the injured, 15 people required hospitalization for medical treatment.
Two of the wounded are in serious condition: a 71-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man. This attack has sparked widespread outrage, seen as another act of aggression by Russian forces. Local official Oleksandr Ganzha stated:
“The overnight Russian strike on Dnipro has already left 16 injured. Fifteen people are hospitalized. A 71-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man are in critical condition. This enemy attack has taken the lives of 4 people.”
Continued Aggression
This incident is not an isolated case of Russian military aggression on June 1. The previous day, occupying forces struck Zaporizhzhia and also targeted a hospital in Konotop, Sumy region. These events underscore the ongoing hostilities that continue to cause civilian casualties and suffering.
The attack on Dnipro is part of the broader conflict between Ukraine and Russia, which has been ongoing since 2014. Military actions not only result in heavy losses among civilians but also undermine regional stability. In light of recent developments, the international community is once again emphasizing the need to intensify diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict and ensure the safety of peaceful residents.
