Ukrainian Air Forces Shot Down 24 Russian Drones

On the night of October 12, Russia attacked Ukraine again. According to the Air Forces' report, Ukrainian forces managed to shoot down 24 enemy drones.

The attacks were carried out from Belgorod region, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW), and mobile fire teams of the Air Forces and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the attack. As a result of the air engagement, 24 enemy drones were shot down in Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

Additionally, two enemy drones were lost due to active EW countermeasures.

It should be recalled that on the night of October 12, a fire broke out at an oil depot in Rovenky, Luhansk region. Ukrainian residents observed explosions in the Rovenky area. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported shooting down 47 Ukrainian drones.

Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on a fuel and lubricant storage facility in the Rovenky area, where oil and petroleum products for the Russian army were stored.

Also, on the night of October 7, occupied Crimea faced a drone attack. As a result, a fire broke out at an oil depot in Feodosia. Subsequently, the Defense Forces of Ukraine confirmed a successful strike on the marine oil terminal in Feodosia, which belonged to the enemy.

The Feodosia marine oil terminal is the largest such facility in Crimea, with a tank capacity of 250 thousand cubic meters. Another similar terminal operates in Sevastopol, but the Feodosia terminal is larger and has a railway network.

The fire at the Feodosia oil depot is still ongoing.
