According to inkorr.com: The Christian Democratic Union of Germany has appealed to the government to allocate more funding for Ukraine, particularly in the defense sector. A party representative emphasized that rejecting budget requests from the Ministry of Defense could threaten not only Ukraine's security but also that of the entire continent.
The politician also noted that the escalation of the national security situation demands urgent measures. He stressed the need to create deterrence mechanisms, especially in border areas with Ukraine, to maintain peace and stability.
The Christian Democratic Union of Germany expressed serious concern about the rejection of budget requests for defense spending and called on the government to increase assistance to Ukraine to ensure regional security.
