Germany topped the ranking of buyers of Ukrainian vegetables: who else is in the top 3.
According to inkorr.com: According to information from the State Customs Service, Germany ranked first among countries that buy the most Ukrainian vegetables. From the beginning of the year to the end of July 2025, Ukrainian farmers exported 6.2 thousand tons of frozen vegetables, earning 6.1 million dollars.
"The main buyers of Ukrainian frozen vegetables were Germans, who bought almost a third of the entire volume (30.5%). Poland ranks second with 24.1%, while Italians are third with 10.6%. Meanwhile, Ukraine itself imported 7.6 thousand tons of vegetables worth 10.1 million dollars. Our imports were highly dependent on suppliers from Poland, who accounted for 73.4% of all purchases, while Belgium and Spain played a less significant role - 14.1% and 3.5%, respectively."
This report highlights the high demand for Ukrainian vegetables in the international market, especially in Germany. This could contribute to further increases in agricultural product exports and the overall development of the Ukrainian agricultural sector.
The growth in Ukrainian vegetable exports indicates their competitiveness on the global stage. Supported by stable demand from Germany, this may open new opportunities for Ukrainian farmers, as the quality and diversity of products remain important factors for international trade.
