New TRML-4D radars for Ukraine: Hensoldt expects orders worth hundreds of millions of euros.
New orders from Hensoldt for Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: The German company Hensoldt expects new orders from Ukraine for TRML-4D air surveillance and target acquisition radars by the end of the year. Existing contracts provide the company with about 500 million euros in revenue, and new orders could bring in dozens, possibly even hundreds of millions of euros. Additional TRML-4D radars, planned to be provided to Ukraine, will help detect and track targets at distances of up to 250 kilometers.
According to information from Hensoldt, these radars not only detect and track aerial targets such as drones and missiles, but also help determine the positions of enemy artillery. Ukraine is currently using 16 radar systems and previously received another 8 such installations. TRML-4D is one of the most advanced radars that contribute to detecting potentially dangerous objects in the air, providing critically important support to the Ukrainian Air Force.
These new solutions are significant for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities in the ongoing conflict. Providing more radars will not only enhance the capabilities to detect air threats but will also be an important step in strengthening military cooperation between Ukraine and Germany. Thus, Hensoldt continues to play a key role in supporting Ukrainian forces in their struggle for security and sovereignty.
