Kettering Town part ways with footballer Jamara Loza: the reason is the court ruling.
Kettering Town bids farewell to Jamara Loza
According to The Sun: Kettering Town has terminated the contract with Jamara Loza after the player was convicted for selling nitrous oxide. This non-league club had previously released former Newcastle footballer Niall Render.
Loza became the latest player to leave Kettering following his conviction earlier this week. The 31-year-old Jamaican footballer pleaded guilty to two charges of selling nitrous oxide.
“I believe I made a mistake, and now I have to live with it.”
The club continues to assess the situation and is taking steps to ensure discipline among its players.
This incident highlights the importance of accountability in professional sports, as clubs strive to maintain their image and a safe environment for players and fans. Kettering Town is looking for ways to prevent similar incidents in the future, as the honor of the team and its reputation must come first.
