According to The Sun: Whitehawk FC, a football club playing in the Isthmian League Premier, is preparing for a large-scale renovation of its stadium at McLaren Enclosed Ground in Brighton.

Firstly, Whitehawk will completely update its stadium and transition to a modern 3G artificial turf pitch.
The project also includes the construction of a boxing hall and fitness clubs, upgrading the clubhouse with a bar and a new events hall, as well as creating a fan zone.
The club has also planned upgrades to the entrance gates, parking, and security systems before installing a new illuminated pitch.
Work has already begun on creating a fan zone called The Hawks Social. Street food trucks, local musicians and DJs are planned to operate here, along with community events.
“It is more than just bricks and mortar; it’s about creating a space that brings people together, inspires the next generation, and provides essential resources for one of the most undervalued areas in the UK,”
said club co-chair John Summers.
“With active support from Brighton and Hove City Council, local businesses, and the community, this exciting project aims to set a new standard in the achievements of community football clubs.”
The existing stand on the west side of the stadium will be doubled, and new stands will replace the old structures behind the goals.
On the east side, where the changing rooms are currently located, a covered stand will be built that was previously unavailable to fans.
