Norwegian Prime Minister and others visited Kyiv. Today, Ukraine hosted new guests: the Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, the Minister of Defense of Romania Liviu Ionuț Mărișeanu, the Vice Chancellor and Minister of Finance of Germany Lars Klingbeil, and the Minister of National Defense of Lithuania Daivile Šakalienė. This is reported by FREEДОМ. Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre made his fourth visit since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine. During a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, and other representatives of the Ukrainian military-political leadership, current issues such as defense needs, support for sanctions against Russia, cooperation in the energy sector, and more were discussed. The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Norway also discussed security guarantees after peace is established. Jonas Gahr Støre noted that Oslo's support for Ukraine will continue even after peace is reached. Lars Klingbeil, Vice Chancellor and Minister of Finance of Germany, also visited Kyiv to discuss defense issues, forcing Russia to peace and security guarantees for Ukraine. He noted that Berlin allocated 50.5 billion euros to support Kyiv since the beginning of the war. Minister of Defense of Lithuania Daivile Šakalienė signed a Letter of Intent for joint production of defense products with her Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal. The parties agreed on the production of long-range drones. The agreement with Lithuania, discussion of defense issues from Norway and Germany, and international assistance from Canada are all parts of a large-scale support for Ukraine amidst the intensification of the conflict with Russia. The decisions and agreements made during the visits of the guests are aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capability and ensuring the security of the country.
