Standard Shipment Rates from Nova Poshta
According to Novyny.live: Ukraine's leading logistics company, Nova Poshta, has released its updated parcel delivery tariffs for 2026. The cost of standard shipments is determined by both weight and volume, giving customers flexibility to choose the most suitable option for their needs.
The pricing structure for standard deliveries is as follows:
- Small parcels up to 2 kg: 80 UAH;
- Medium parcels up to 10 kg: 120 UAH;
- Large parcels up to 30 kg: 180 UAH.
Packaging fees are applied separately:
- 10 UAH for parcels up to 2 kg;
- 40 UAH for parcels up to 10 kg;
- 80 UAH for parcels up to 30 kg.
For a 20 kg shipment including packaging, customers will pay 260 UAH, which breaks down to 13 UAH per kg. The average cost of sending a 5 kg parcel is 160 UAH, or 32 UAH per kg. Sending a 2 kg parcel costs 90 UAH, equivalent to 45 UAH per kg.
An extra fee of 100 UAH per item applies if the parcel exceeds 120 cm in length. Additional charges may also apply for deliveries to villages and rural settlements, where a surcharge of 25 UAH is added. For oversized parcels sent between branches within the same city, the rate is 6 UAH per kg.
Tariff Zones and Extra Costs
Customers should also be aware of tariff zones, which affect delivery costs:
- Tariff Zone 1: 9 UAH/kg;
- Tariff Zone 2: 10 UAH/kg;
- Tariff Zone 3: 12 UAH/kg.
When delivery is to a village or rural settlement, an additional 2 UAH per kg is charged.
For parcels with dimensions exceeding 120 cm, a surcharge of 150 UAH per item is applied. These updated tariffs from Nova Poshta give customers a clear picture of delivery expenses, enabling more efficient planning of shipments.
The tariff update from Nova Poshta reflects shifts in Ukraine's logistics market and the company's efforts to align its services with customer needs.
With growing competition in the delivery sector, the new pricing could influence customer choices, potentially driving improvements in service quality. These changes are especially relevant for small businesses considering shipping goods to their customers, as a clear understanding of costs helps them budget more effectively.
