Nova Poshta Revises Storage Fees: New Costs for Overdue Parcels.
Nova Poshta Adjusts Its Storage Pricing
According to Novyny.live: Ukraine's leading private delivery service, Nova Poshta, has announced updated rates for storing parcels and personal items. Under the new policy, most standard parcels can be held free of charge for up to 7 days, while pallet storage incurs a fee starting on the 4th day. The final cost for holding any item is determined by its weight and category.
Updated Storage Rates
The new daily storage fees for parcels are as follows:
- Up to 2 kg – 10 UAH per day
- Up to 10 kg – 20 UAH per day
- Up to 30 kg – 30 UAH per day
- Up to 100 kg – 40 UAH per day
- Over 100 kg – 40 UAH per each 100 kg
- Tires and rims – 40 UAH per day
- Pallets – 100 UAH per day
It is important to note that any shipment held for more than 30 days will be classified as unclaimed property.
For personal belongings storage, the daily fees are structured differently:
- Up to 2 kg – 30 UAH
- Up to 10 kg – 30 UAH
- Up to 30 kg – 30 UAH
- Up to 100 kg – 60 UAH
- Over 100 kg – 60 UAH per each 100 kg
- Pallets – 300 UAH
These revised storage charges may influence how customers select delivery options and plan their shipments. For frequent shippers and recipients, the new fee schedule could be a significant consideration in logistics planning. By shortening the free storage window, the company is encouraging clients to collect parcels promptly, which may help streamline warehouse operations. This move also reflects the carrier's ongoing adaptation to market demands and consumer expectations for efficient delivery services.
