New Winter Assistance for Ukrainians: Payments up to 6500 Hryvnias – Who Will Receive It.
Launch of a New Winter Support Program in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: A new winter support program for the population is being implemented in Ukraine, offering one-time payments ranging from 1000 to 6500 Hryvnias. The largest assistance will go to those in greatest need: families with children, guardian families, family-type children's homes, low-income households, internally displaced persons with first-group disabilities and lonely pensioners.
These payments will help cover essential winter needs such as food, medications, warm clothing, and utility services. Additionally, starting in December, a mechanism will be introduced to provide 1000 Hryvnias to anyone who applies, allowing them to spend the funds on a variety of goods and services – from medicines to transportation costs.
Funding Assistance for Residents of Frontline Areas
In November, funding began for a support program for residents of frontline areas, which includes compensation for electricity costs and support for purchasing solid fuel. These measures aim to reduce the risk of humanitarian difficulties during the winter period and ensure that the basic needs of people experiencing war and economic instability are met.
The implemented programs confirm the government's commitment to support its citizens in difficult times, ensuring their basic needs are met throughout the winter period.
This program is an important step in addressing the social issues faced by vulnerable populations. It not only provides financial support but also shows the state's readiness to care for its citizens in challenging times.
