New mobilization rules starting in November: who will receive an automatic deferment.
According to inkorr.com: Starting in November, new rules regarding the registration and extension of deferments from mobilization will come into effect in Ukraine. Now this can be done online through the 'Reserve+' app or in person at the Centers for Administrative Service Provision (CNAP). The Federation of Employers of Ukraine is also urging the government to reconsider the quotas for reservations, and the State Labor Service is joining the checks of military registration at enterprises.
Automatic extension of deferments
From November 1, new rules will be implemented that will allow for the automatic extension of deferments for certain categories of citizens. This primarily concerns people with disabilities, those temporarily unfit for service, and other groups. For those who do not use smartphones, from November 5, it will also be possible to register or extend a deferment at CNAP.
Changes in reservation quotas
The Federation of Employers of Ukraine demands changes to the conditions of reservation, including the inclusion of mobilized workers who receive wages from the enterprise in the quota. It is also proposed to shorten the processing times for applications from enterprises that are critically important.
Facilitating the obtaining of deferments
With the new rules, citizens will be able to more easily obtain deferments from mobilization when necessary. Employers also have the opportunity to appeal to the government with proposals regarding reservation quotas and other issues related to the mobilization of workers.
Thus, with the enactment of the new rules, Ukrainians will be able to more easily process deferments from military service, and enterprises will gain more opportunities to manage their personnel resources. These changes may have a positive impact on the stability of the labor market, especially in the face of military challenges.
