Deferrals from conscription from November 1: who can apply online.
The Ministry of Defense explained that new rules for obtaining deferrals from military service will come into effect on November 1, 2025. According to these rules, all deferrals that can be confirmed in state registries or that cannot change over time are automatically extended. Online application for deferrals through the Reserve+ application has become the primary method. It is also possible to do this offline through administrative service centers (ASC).
According to inkorr.com: The Reserve+ application currently offers 10 types of deferrals. In particular, deferrals can be obtained by persons with disabilities, those temporarily unfit for service, parents of children with disabilities, and other categories of citizens. An additional deferral for those caring for parents with disabilities is planned to be introduced. Details should be clarified with the Ministry of Defense.
Who needs to contact ASC to apply for a deferral
If the required type of deferral is not available in Reserve+, or it pertains to certain categories of persons, an application should be submitted at a convenient ASC. This applies, for example, to guardians, caregivers, adoptive parents, and others dealing with people with special needs.
What documents need to be on hand
To obtain a deferral at ASC, one should have a passport, TIN, and other documents confirming the basis for the deferral. After submitting an application, the documents will be sent to the Military Registration and Enlistment Office for consideration.
After the review of the application, the result will be forwarded to ASC to inform the applicant. If the response is negative, the reason for refusal will be sent to the email. It is important to note that the application for deferral must be submitted personally, without representatives.
Thus, starting from November 2025, the new rules for processing deferrals open up more opportunities for citizens. The Ministry of Defense has simplified the process of obtaining deferrals, making it faster and more convenient. This is especially important for persons who require special attention or care.
